Cub Scout Pack 115

Cub Scout activities are centered around earning  badges that are specific to each school grade level. Based on different topics such as hiking, nature, science, citizenship, first aid, sports, and more, adventures are earned as a Cub Scout advances toward their badge of rank. American Legion Pickett Post 21 charters the local Bono, AR Cub Scout Pack 115.

Our Community Salutes

OCS Ceremonies are organized by parents, educators, business and community leaders, and veterans to provide community support for new enlistees and their families as they transition into military service, joining the 1% of Americans who serve in uniform.

Each OCS enlistee receives a pocket guide of the U.S. Constitution, gifts from sponsors, educational materials, and the recognition that their community supports their decision to serve.

Oratorical Contest

The American Legion Oratorical Contest helps high school students learn about the U.S. Constitution. It encourages them to develop strong public speaking skills while building confidence.

The contest also teaches the importance of leadership, citizenship, and understanding the rights and responsibilities of being an American.
